Gaelic Leasing
Logo, Stationery Suite and Brand Guidelines
Gaelic Leasing, a division of Abbey International Finance, provides asset leasing programmes for business growth. Based in Austin, Texas, the company has operations in the United States and Europe.
Calling on the company’s Irish roots, the logo is designed to represent the seashell-shaped great horn of the fianna, mythological warriors of Ireland led by Fionn mac Cumhaill. The horn, named borabu, was found by Fionn’s son, Oisín, regarded as the greatest poet of Ireland. A blast of the borabu by any of the fianna was said to summon the others at once, mirroring the company’s ability to respond quickly to their customer’s needs.
Brand guidelines were also produced to accompany the logo design to maintain quality and to ensure all elements of the design are used correctly and consistently across various media, no matter which supplier, agency or printer is involved.
Alongside the logo and stationery suite, vehicle livery was also designed for the company. Logos, stationery suites and vehicle livery were also designed for two of Gaelic Leasing’s sister companies, Gaelic Plant Hire and Elev8 Platform Hire, both based here in Ireland.
