Nest is an award-winning, family-owned furniture design company which crafts commissioned one‑off and limited edition signature furniture pieces drawing inspiration from classic automotive design and haute couture. Originating from Middlton, County Cork and now based in the south west of France, their pieces are known for the clarity of their lines and seamless profiles.

The logo design draws inspiration from the clean lines, elegant curves and precision of the company’s finely-crafted furniture and the solid timber used for many of their pieces. Here, a simplified profile of a bird’s-nest sits effortlessly balanced on the end of the bough of a tree stretching out from above the company name.

The company name itself appears in understated lower case in a font which echoes the clean lines and elegant curves. The red of the logotype hints at the strength of the material while the complementary warm gray of the bird’s-nest and bough is used to suggest elegance.
